The World University Championship of Golf 2024 will take place in Kuortane-Seinajoki (Finland).

Practical information

• Date: 27/08-30/08
• Who can participate?
  • students who are currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or diploma at the university or similar institute, the status of which is recognised by the appropriate national academic authority of their country; or former students of the institutions mentioned before, who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the calendar year preceding the event;
  • be a national of the country they represent;
  • be at least 18 and no older than 25 years of age on 31 December of the year of the event.
    
  • All players nominated to teams by their national federations must be amateur golfers in accordance with the Rules of Amateur Status of the R&A Rules Limited and the United States Golf Association and have a handicap of nine or less when entering the World University Championship. Hcps of the players need to be confirmed by the National associations at inscription. Positive Hcps (better than 0) have a ‘+’ in front of the number.
